Hit the Gridiron, and Score the Ultimate Aim at PS3 Madden 10

The soundtrack on PS3 Madden 10 is another facet that will get hardcore gamers going. Soundtracks have become synonymous with the games themselves, especially the Madden series. PS3 Madden 10's soundtrack brings the right level of intensity, as well as a great mix of newer and older songs ("older" being a relative term here, of course). One gander at the song lineup should induce and impress: "Can't C Me" by 2Pac, "Heads are Gonna Roll" by Airbourne, "Them Bones" by Alice in Chains, "Created a Monster" by B.o.B, "Revolution" by Bang Camaro, "Sabotage" by Beastie Boys, "Paranoid" by Black Sabbath, "Get 'Em Up" by Cypress Hill, "Unsung" by Helmet, "Aces High" by Iron Maiden, "Painkiller" by Judas Priest, "I Am the Bullgod" by Kid Rock, "Reckoning" by Killswitch Engage, "Blind" by Korn, "Divinations" by Mastodon, "Hate Me Now" by Nas featuring Puff Daddy, "Breed" by Nirvana, "Walk" by Pantera, "Shut 'Em Down" by Public Enemy, "Guerrilla Radio" by Rage Against the Machine, "Gaia Bleeds (Make Way for Man)" by Set Your Goals, "Duality" by Slipknot, "Sugar" by System of a Down, "Before I Die" by The Vanity Plan," and "Cheah Beah" by Young Dre The Truth. If all those features and upgrades haven't convinced you that PS3 Madden 10 is a masterpiece, then perhaps a trip through the sports video game timeline will. Maybe it's an obtuse comparison, lavishing platitudes on PS3 Madden 10, just because it blows every past video football game out of the water. Once you've given the older football video games the once-over, you can grasp why people are drooling over PS3 Madden 10. At the dawn of video game consoles, one of the top requests from every hardcore gamer was a football video game for their system, naturally. The downside was, the gaming technology wasn't quite up to speed yet, so video football fanatics had to settle, in a big way. To try to generate excitement, the creators of this one insisted it featured "all the excitement" of actual football. Competition was nonexistent, so this one was a huge hit for the biggest video game console in the day. Those players don't even look human. There's no getting around that one You can tell by the image that the game wasn't much, but that's only the half of it. Technology was so inadequate back then, that every moving player flickered to the point where you could barely see the action. There's just no way to try an explain how lousy the sound was. Things were so limited that a scrolling screen was out of the question. Within a couple years, things would pick up slightly, with a competing console developing a football video game. This next one was a valiant attempt to make a more realistic football video game. Still needed work, though.

That one caused a huge sensation upon its arrival to the video game world, and while it set a (slightly) higher standard, this wasn't the foundation for football video games to be built on. That wouldn't come until several years down the line. This one was a big innovation for football video games, and has fans who still swear by it. For a long time, it was the gold standard by which football video games were held. It's certainly easy to see why that one was a hit - the gameplay was far more sophisticated, incorporating actual offensive and defensive strategies. Everything - sound, visuals - got such a major upgrade that this was the final word in sports video games. And given that they're making a new online version, there's still a following for it. But even that one can't compete with PS3 Madden 10. When you've seen all the rest, now take a look at the best. As you can see, football video games have evolved exponentially since their first appearance. No need to keep bagging on the old stuff. No need to beat a dead horse. Those games did what needed to be done, and we have them to thank, indirectly, for PS3 Madden 10. Gamers are happy, and with good cause - PS3 Madden 10 really kicked this one through the goal posts. And of course, the critics are equally enthusiastic about PS3 Madden 10, which is even more good news for fans of the franchise. Comments like "realistic and enjoyable" pepper each PS3 Madden 10 review. Once again, EA Sports makes a win with PS3 Madden 10 - was there any doubt? There's no debating it - PS3 Madden 10 is an all-time great sports video game. Hey, each PlayStation sports video game is EPIC in its own way, but for our money, PS3 Madden 10 is the stuff legends are made of. Hardcore gamers hold this one in the highest of regard. Along with its major popularity, this is also where you get to battle for bucks.

PlayStation Madden 10 maniacs have the opportunity to challenge each other for some serious cash. Once you do your homework and study the playbook, you'll be in the end zone scoring points and making your rivals weep as you empty out their bank accounts.
